Remnant
Any other place,
Any other time,
And you would be mine,
You’re almost gone,
From my system
All that’s left now,
Is a remnant of you,
Enough to make me crave,
And try to recreate you.
This blankness,
Like landing in an old world
Has got me now,
And im disappointed at how things haven’t changed
I sit and wait, I wait for nothing, to come my way,
for time to box me in a corner
till I do nothing else
Once this body and this brain didnt know your name
And now its so loud
I cant drown it out
All that’s left now,
Is a remnant of you,
Enough to make me crave,
And try to recreate you.
